More firing results

The past weekend Karma fired her Piggy bank. We attempted to get the whole piece black, nothing were added to the fire apart from wet grass, coffee grinds and wood. The final outcome were the exact opposite. We left the piece as long as possible in the fire to cool down. The thing that really amazed me about this firing attempt was that even after the polishing of the piece, the clay had a nice solid sound to it. This means that the fire were really hot, and might explain the lack of black.

Karma did a splendid job sculpting her piggy bank. Her piggy bank is inspired by a wild boar.
