Pizza season is in the air

At the end of last summer all our fresh basil died. That is perfectly normal as basil is a seasonal herb. Now it is spring again and almost time for pizza to get that ultimate fresh edge.

The past weekend we've spend some time planting new basil plants. This time instead of growing it from seeds we took the shortcut and planted some seedlings. We've also planted the basil in semi-shade instead of in the sun like everyone recommends. Last year was extremely dry and more than that the sun simply burned the basil that was planted in the direct sunlight.
