Big fat pigeon on blue.

It's been quite some time since I've posted something on my blog, but that does not mean I've been doing nothing. On the contrary I've finished quite a number of gauche bird paintings, to be exact, I've finished 6 pieces in total. I want to share my favourite piece so far... the big fat pigeon on blue.

We photographed this pigeon while enjoying a  coffee with my parents after a very cool "potter of the month"pottery exhibition. What I really enjoy about this piece is just how beautiful even the most common birds are.
