Butternut soup - Food Photography

This weekend we took some more food photographs. For starters we made butternut soup finished with with yoghurt, cream, pesto and freshly roasted almonds with basil leaves as decoration. A texture rich meal, mmmmm... This food didn't only look good but was a really good combination of flavours. 

We then photographed the soup with natural window lighting for a nice home atmosphere. After all our photos was done, guess what we did? Jip we ate it ! and that is the second thing that I really like about food photography. I hope you like the photo, and don't forget to check tomorrow what we did for dessert.
